The explosion occurred on Saturday at 9:38 pm, and those affected were taken to Rolayo Private Hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The incident was attributed to a cylinder explosion at the melting point area. Nearby houses were also impacted, with window frames reportedly cracked due to the blast's vibration.
