Suspected Houthi explosion near a ship in Red Sea under investigation, no damage or claims.

An explosion near a ship in the Red Sea is suspected to have been an attack by Yemen's Houthi rebels; however, it caused no damage and no group has claimed responsibility. The UKMTO received a report of the explosion, which occurred approximately 71 nautical miles southwest of the port city of Saleef in Yemen. The US-led coalition forces are investigating the incident, as the Houthi rebels have targeted commercial shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since November.
