Delhi and Noida police increase security and deploy extra forces in response to CAA notification.
Delhi Police and Noida Police have tightened security and deployed additional forces in response to the Centre's notification of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) on 11 March. Patrolling and flag marches have been conducted in Northeast and Southeast Delhi, with security measures also increased in Shaheen Bagh, Jamia Millia Islamia, and other sensitive areas. The Delhi Police's cyber unit is monitoring social media platforms to prevent provocative posts and rumors.
