1 child died, 2 injured in Mall of Georgia parking lot car accident; investigation ongoing.
1 child died and 2 others were injured after being hit by a car in the Mall of Georgia parking lot in Buford, Gwinnett County. The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon in front of Dick's Sporting Goods. The driver remained at the scene and the deceased child was taken to Children's Hospital of Atlanta, while the injured were treated at Northside Hospital Lawrenceville. The police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
