Montreal police reported two non-life-threatening injuries after separate overnight stabbings at 1 am on Mar 9. A 20-year-old man was stabbed during an apparent cell phone theft outside the Langelier metro station, and two 19-year-olds were arrested. The second incident involved a 29-year-old man stabbed in his lower body after exiting a downtown building; he was brought to a local hospital, but no arrests have been made in connection with this attack.
