101-year-old Sri Ram Mandir in Nippani, Belagavi district, Karnataka received two threatening letters on February 7 and 28, warning of a bomb explosion by March 20-21. In response, 14 CCTV cameras were installed, a platoon of District Armed Reserve (DAR) deployed near the temple, and Minister for Muzarai, Ramalinga Reddy, pledged to increase security at all state temples and ordered necessary action.
