93-year-old Raymond Sonji Uno, Utah's first minority judge and civil rights advocate, passed away on Friday. Born in Ogden, Uno was forced into the Heart Mountain, Wyoming internment camp with his family in 1941. His father died due to a heart clot nine months after their internment, while his mother lived to 101. Uno spent three years in an 18-foot-by-16-foot barrack during his time in the camp.
