A wanted man, John Belfield, was arrested at Manchester Airport upon arrival from South America and charged with the murder of Thomas Campbell. Belfield was wanted in connection with Campbell's fatal attack, where he was robbed and tortured to death in his Mossley, Tameside home. Three individuals, including Campbell's ex-wife Coleen Campbell, were previously jailed for their roles in Campbell's death.
