A house fire in Hardin County claimed the lives of three people, including two children, while a 34-year-old adult and a small infant survived and were hospitalized. Fire departments from Kountze, Lumberton, and Silsbee are investigating the cause of the fire, which broke out at around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday. The State Fire Marshal's Office and local fire investigators are also involved in the investigation.
