2 pedestrians, aged 46 and 47, were seriously injured in Ukrainian Village, Chicago, after being struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of West Chicago Avenue and North Damen Avenue. The 69-year-old driver, who was also injured, is currently pending citations and the incident is under investigation by Chicago police. Both victims were taken to Stroger Hospital.
