Medicare will offer emergency funds to doctors, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers affected by the Change Healthcare cyberattack, which caused financial distress to many organizations. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will provide advance payments to suppliers who bill through Medicare Part B. Previously, CMS had announced a similar program for emergency payments to hospitals facing financial issues due to the hack.
