King Charles III appoints Prince Edward and three others to Scotland's Order of the Thistle.

King Charles III has appointed his brother, Prince Edward, to Scotland's highest order of chivalry, the Order of the Thistle, along with three other recipients: anthropologist Professor Dame Sue Black, distinguished lawyer Baroness Helena Kennedy, and Scotland's first black professor Sir Geoff Palmer. The installation ceremony for these new knights and ladies of the Thistle is expected to take place in the summer.
