Iraqi Kurds digitize historic Kurdish books through KCAC, preserving rare cultural and historical texts online.
Iraqi Kurds are digitizing historic Kurdish books, threatened by loss or destruction, through the Kurdistan Centre for Arts and Culture (KCAC). The project aims to preserve Kurdish culture and history by making these rare texts accessible to the public online. Over 950 items, including manuscripts dating back to the 1800s, have been archived so far and will be available on KCAC's website in April.
