India's Samudrayaan mission, set to explore the ocean bed up to 6 km deep, is on track to be completed by the end of 2025, according to Earth Sciences Minister Kiren Rijiju. The country's deep-ocean submersible Matsya6000 is expected to take humans up to a depth of 6,000 meters under the sea. Rijiju stated that the project is well on course and scientists may conduct initial shallow-water testing by the end of this year.
