Three friends from Kanpur, including a minor, drowned in Ayodhya's Saryu river while taking a bath before visiting the new Ram temple. The victims, Ravi Mishra (20), Priyanshu Singh (16), and Harshit Awasthi (18), were pulled out of the water by locals and taken to a hospital, but were declared dead by doctors. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his grief over the incident.
