Matthew Carabo, an armed, dangerous suspect from Georgia, was arrested by Florence County Sheriff's deputies after fleeing from a traffic stop on Howe Springs Road and Oliver Drive. Carabo was wanted for resisting arrest, malicious injury to personal property, and simple possession of marijuana. A two-hour manhunt ensued, and Carabo was apprehended a short distance away from the initial traffic stop.
