Colorado's University saw a record-breaking 68,000 applications for Fall 2024, up 20% from last year, partly due to Deion Sanders as head coach. Applications from Black and African-American students increased by 50.5%, and from Hispanic and Latino students by 25.6%. Assistant vice chancellor of admissions, Jennifer Ziegenfus, credited Sanders for raising Colorado's national profile.
