North Alabama man charged with murder after man dies of fentanyl overdose. A Falkville man, Talmadge Anthony Townson II, 39, has been charged with murder and distribution of a controlled substance in connection with the death of 43-year-old Gregory Parks, who was delivered to Athens-Limestone Hospital without identification. Investigators believe Townson provided Parks with a fatal dose of fentanyl.
