Vernon North Okanagan RCMP arrested an individual and seized body armour, grenades, and a loaded firearm from a property in Spallumcheen, following a search warrant execution on March 6. Multiple sets of body armour, over 100 firearms, and what are believed to be live fragmentation grenades were found during the raid, with experts from the Canadian Forces deeming the items safe. A 38-year-old Spallumcheen man was arrested and remanded in custody.
