36-year-old Edgar Tejada is sentenced to 6 years in federal prison for cocaine possession and firearm possession linked to drug trafficking.

Central NY man Edgar Tejada, 36, was sentenced to six years in federal prison for possessing over 1.1 pounds of cocaine and a handgun. He will serve 12 months for possession with intent to distribute cocaine, followed by 60 months for possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Tejada admitted to keeping the drugs and firearm at his Utica residence for protection.
