The 32-year-old BBC Scotland presenter and journalist, Nick Sheridan, passed away after a short illness. Born in Wexford, Ireland, he had previously worked for STV and RTE in Dublin and joined BBC Scotland in 2018. His death has been mourned by colleagues and politicians across the political spectrum, including First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross, and Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar.
