33-year-old Andrew Chenoweth, released from jail, stole a corrections vehicle and was subsequently rearrested and charged with theft.
33-year-old Andrew Chenoweth, recently released from Morgan County Jail, was accused of stealing a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Corrections Vehicle from the jail's parking lot. A jail lieutenant witnessed the theft and followed the car until it was recovered in Decatur. Chenoweth was taken back into custody and charged with theft, with a bond set at $20,000.
