Sherman ISD superintendent, Tyson Bennett, has been suspended with pay following a third-party investigation into the removal of a transgender student from a high school production of "Oklahoma!". The school board did not disclose the status of the ongoing probe nor shared any of its findings. The suspension comes after the board reversed a policy that prevented transgender student Max Hightower from playing a male role in the play.
