Human remains were discovered at a Brampton house fire site, leading Peel Regional Police to conduct a criminal investigation. The fire, which caused extensive structural damage, broke out at a residence near Van Scott Drive and McLaughlin Road on Thursday afternoon. The Homicide and Missing Persons Unit will work closely with the Ontario Fire Marshal and coroner's office to determine the cause of the fire.
