35-year-old CFL linebacker Larry Dean retires, joins Saskatchewan Roughriders as player-personnel coordinator and participates in CFL mentorship program.
Veteran CFL linebacker Larry Dean, 35, has retired after seven seasons, but will remain with the Saskatchewan Roughriders as their player-personnel coordinator. Dean previously played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Edmonton, and also had stints with NFL teams Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As part of the CFL mentorship program, Dean will provide education about pro football off the field.
