South Africa's Department of Justice is signing an MoU with Partners Against Piracy (PAP) to strengthen efforts against content piracy, focusing on capacity building, experience sharing, and intellectual property rights protection. The partnership comes as technology security firm Irdeto reports that five major African territories made 17.4 million visits to piracy sites between June and August 2021.
