Nigerian House of Representatives to probe N200bn spent on suspended 2023 Population & Housing Census. Following a motion by Hon. Clement Akanni, the House mandated its Committee on Population to invite the NPC's Director-General to explain spending of N200bn on suspended census and report back in four weeks. The census, initially planned for 2022, was indefinitely suspended by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
