NDLEA Act amendment to enhance Nigeria's drug law enforcement capabilities, as stated by Chairman Brig Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa.
Brig Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), Chairman of Nigeria's National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has stated that the ongoing amendment of the NDLEA Act, when passed into law, will significantly enhance the agency's capabilities in combating substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking. Marwa made these remarks during the opening ceremony of the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) on Drug Control meeting in Abuja. He also acknowledged the funding challenges currently limiting the agency's capabilities.
