Mercedes junior Doriane Pin has dominated F1 Academy qualifying in Saudi Arabia, securing pole position by 0.7 seconds ahead of Alpine's Abbi Pulling and Ferrari's Maya Weug. Pin, who joined Mercedes in January, has been praised by team boss Toto Wolff as an "exciting talent". The series, which sees each F1 team supporting at least one driver, started this weekend running alongside the main F1 races.
