6 March 2024: Judge Manoj Kumar Tiwari exempts appellant from filing affidavit for bail in case CRLA/100/2024.
On March 6, 2024, Hon'ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari granted an exemption from filing an affidavit in support of a bail application in case CRLA/100/2024. The appellant, challenging a 20-year rigorous imprisonment sentence for offenses under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, was represented by legal aid counsel Mr. Priyanshu Gairola. The judges ordered that an objection to the bail application should be filed in the meantime.
