Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced the first phase of Mumbai's Coastal Road project, involving 120 acres of land for a garden along the highway, will begin shortly. The entire project is expected to cost Rs 2900 crore and complete in about 48 months. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has allocated funds for the Mumbai Coastal Road (North) from Versova to Dahisar, Dahisar Bhayandar Link Road, and Goregaon-Mulund Link Road.
