20,000 Interior Health employees' personal data breach discovered, including SINs, home addresses, and dates of birth.

An RCMP investigation discovered a possible privacy breach involving personal information of 20,000 employees who worked at British Columbia's Interior Health from 2003 to 2009. The document containing the data included social insurance numbers, home addresses, and dates of birth. No patient information was found in the document. Interior Health is urging former employees from that period to contact them to determine if their information was on the recovered document.
