Google will not include its Gemini Nano AI model in the base Pixel 8 due to "hardware limitations." The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro both have the same Google Tensor G3 SoC, but the base model has 8GB of RAM compared to 12GB in the Pro model. Gemini Nano, present in other devices like Samsung Galaxy S24, will likely be included in the base Pixel 9 as it has a more powerful SoC processor than the Pixel 8 Pro.
