Federal judge upholds Biden admin program.

A federal judge in Texas upheld a Biden administration immigration program that permits 30,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to enter the US each month on humanitarian grounds. The judge dismissed a challenge from Republican-led states that claimed the program created an economic burden, allowing the Biden administration to continue operating the program. The policy, in place since fall 2022, has granted parole and entry to over 357,000 people by January.
