Farmington police are investigating an attempted theft of an ATM at the University Credit Union. The incident occurred on Tuesday around 11:30 p.m., when officers arrived to find the ATM destroyed. A stolen Ford pickup truck was found abandoned on the property, and the owner, who was unaware the truck had been stolen, is cooperating with the investigation. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
