1 dead, 1 injured in Whites Creek Pike head-on crash: A man was killed and another injured in a head-on collision on Whites Creek Pike near the Fontanel property, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. A preliminary investigation shows a Chevy Silverado truck crossed over the double yellow line and hit a Volkswagen Taos head-on. Toxicology testing will be conducted to determine if impairment played a role in the crash.
