CT lawmakers and police support 'Broko's Bill', a proposed legislation that would make intentionally harming a police dog a felony, require restitution for injured or killed K9s, and increase potential fines and jail time. Named after a Stonington K9 killed in December, the bill is introduced by the Public Safety and Security Committee and would require restitution to be paid to local agencies or owners.
