Brazil's vehicle production rose by 17.4% in February 2024 compared to the previous year, reaching 189,700 units, according to the National Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea). New vehicle sales were the highest for any February since 2020, with sales of all types of vehicles up by 27.1% year-on-year. February exports increased by 62.7% from January, thanks to an investment incentive program launched by the Brazilian government for the automotive industry.
