40 Bcf decrease in US working gas storage reported by EIA on March 1.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported a 40 billion cubic feet decrease in working gas storage in the contiguous United States, ending March 1. The total working gas storage increased by 13.6% from the same time last year and was 30.9% higher than the five-year average. Working gas storage typically decreases from November until April when the heating season ends in the U.S.
