Baltimore has agreed to pay $275,000 in legal fees to settle a lawsuit with far-right Catholic media group St. Michael's Media, who were initially denied permission to rally outside a meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The city's Board of Estimates approved the settlement. In 2021, city officials claimed St. Michael's Media's rally posed a threat to public safety.
