66-year-old Thomas Carroll, from Clonmel, County Tipperary, appeared in Tralee District Court via video link from Cork Prison, facing a murder charge for the death of Castlemaine man Paddy O'Mahony. His solicitor indicated that an application for bail before the High Court will "probably" be heard tomorrow, Thursday, March 7. Carroll faces a single charge of allegedly murdering O'Mahony, who was found dead at his property on February 24th.
