60-year-old Cobb County man, Lorenzo Reed, drowned during a fishing trip at West Point Lake in Troup County. Deputies found Reed's truck and boat trailer, then located his unoccupied boat anchored at Highland Marina. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Georgia Department of Natural Resources aided in the search. Reed's body was discovered underwater at 7:30 pm, with investigators believing he fell off his boat and drowned.
