A coroner in Ireland has determined that a 71-year-old man's death at a nursing home in Co Clare was due to "medical misadventure" after he was accidentally overdosed with medication. John Mee was given a high dose of antipsychotic medication meant for another resident and passed away on June 30, 2021. The nursing home, Cahercalla, has since implemented new measures to prevent such incidents.
