A Virginia man has been arrested in connection with two cold case murders from the 1980s, after DNA evidence linked him to the deaths of Jacqueline Lard in 1986 and Amy Baker in 1989. Lard was last seen at her workplace and her body was later found under a pile of discarded carpet. Baker went missing after leaving a relative's house and her body was found in a wooded area. The cases remained unsolved until DNA evidence connected the crimes.
