Sony confirms Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy exclusive to PlayStation consoles.
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy, including upcoming parts 2 and 3, will remain exclusive to PlayStation consoles, according to Sony Interactive Entertainment vice president Christian Svensson. The partnership between Sony and Square Enix for the remake series has been "mutually desired". Final Fantasy 7 Remake launched on PS4 in 2020 and its sequel, Rebirth, launched as a timed exclusive for PS5 in November 2021.
