The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) awarded $155.6M in federal transportation funding to 51 cities, towns, and counties in rural Indiana for local road, bridge & sidewalk improvements. Funded projects include bridge improvements in Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Orange, Scott counties and safety projects in Daviess and Knox counties. Communities must contribute 20% in local matching funds to receive federal funding.
