Nigeria's House of Representatives plans to establish an ad hoc committee to ensure all workers receive a living wage due to rising inflation. The committee will be formed based on Nigeria's commitment to the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the implementation of living wages is seen as vital to achieving eight of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. The proposal will be transmitted to the Senate for concurrence.
