NHS North West London has cancelled its plans for "same-day access" hubs for primary care services, following a backlash from patients and doctors. The proposed hubs aimed to improve access to primary care services by assessing patients with less complex health problems at one of these hubs instead of their own family doctor. However, health officials have decided to give GPs and patients more time to clarify the plans, and will consider "embedding new ways of working" in 2023.
