Ghana's President, Nana Akufo-Addo, affirms commitment to refine bauxite mines for alumina production, ending export of raw bauxite. This move aims to advance Ghanaian industrialization, create jobs and boost the domestic aluminum industry, supplying VALCO smelter and producing vehicle parts, aircraft parts, roofing sheets, and household utensils. The President also hopes to resolve litigation over the Atewa Forest Range, leading to forest development and job creation.
