Barry Silbert's Digital Currency Group (DCG) is seeking to dismiss New York state's $3 billion civil lawsuit over a failed crypto lending program, Gemini Earn, accusing DCG and Silbert of misleading customers about the safety of the program. In a court filing, DCG argues that its only connection to the alleged fraud against Gemini Earn customers is "vague" statements and a few "retweets" surrounding its support for Genesis during the 2022 crypto crisis.
